If you’ve ever typed pizza restaurant Etobicoke into Google at 7 PM on a hungry Friday, you already know the drill. Endless options, most of them looking the same, and you’re left scrolling through reviews trying to figure out which one is actually worth your time. So let us save you the scrolling.
Tucked away on Islington Ave, The Chocolate Room isn’t your typical pizza spot. It’s part café, part Italian kitchen, and part chocolate lover’s dream, all rolled into one warm, welcoming space. And honestly? That’s exactly what makes it stand out from every other pizza restaurant in Toronto.
Why We’re a Top Pizza Restaurant in Etobicoke?
Here’s the thing about pizza in this city – there’s no shortage of it. Every second block in Etobicoke seems to have a slice shop or a delivery-only kitchen. But if you’re after something that feels a little more special, a place where you can actually sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal instead of grabbing a box and running – The Chocolate Room hits different.
Our kitchen turns out proper Italian classics alongside our famous chocolate creations. Think crispy, cheesy pizzas made the right way, sizzlers that arrive at your table still hissing, and pasta plates that taste like someone actually cared about making them. It’s comfort food, done properly, in a setting that feels more like a cozy hangout than a fast-food counter.
And yes, we’ll admit it — we’re probably the only Italian restaurant in Etobicoke that lets you follow up your pizza with a chocolate fondue. That’s not a bad problem to have.
Why People Keep Coming Back for Pizza in Toronto?
Ask anyone who’s been to The Chocolate Room and they’ll tell you the same thing — it’s not just about the food, it’s about how the whole experience feels. Here’s what keeps people walking back through our doors:
The pizzas are made fresh, every single time. No shortcuts, no reheated slices sitting under a warmer. When you order, it’s made right then, with real ingredients and a crust that actually has some character to it.
The menu goes way beyond pizza. Alongside our Italian dishes, you’ll find sizzlers, sandwiches, and a whole separate world of desserts and hot chocolates. So if half your group wants pizza and the other half wants something sweet, nobody has to compromise.
It’s a proper sit-down experience. Etobicoke has plenty of grab-and-go pizza spots, but not many places where you can settle in, chat with friends, and actually enjoy a meal without feeling rushed.
The vibe is warm and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi, a kid-friendly setup and parking right there — it’s the kind of place you can bring your family, your co-workers, or just show up solo with a book and a hot chocolate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.1 Where can I find good pizza near me in Etobicoke?
If you’re in or around Etobicoke, The Chocolate Room is an easy pick — we’re located at 2652 Islington Ave, with parking right on site so you don’t have to circle the block looking for a spot.
Q.2 Does The Chocolate Room offer vegetarian pizza and Italian options?
Yes. Our Italian menu includes vegetarian-friendly pizzas and dishes alongside the classics, so you don’t need to call ahead to check — just look for the veg options when you browse the menu.
Q.3 Do you do takeout or is it dine-in only?
We’re primarily set up as a dine-in experience, since a big part of what we offer is the sit-down café atmosphere. If takeout matters to you, it’s worth giving us a call ahead to confirm what’s available that day.
Q.4 What’s the price range like for a meal here?
We sit in the moderate range, not a cheap slice counter, but not fine dining either. You’re paying for fresh, made-to-order Italian food plus a dessert menu that’s genuinely worth trying, so most guests find it fair for what they get.
Q.5 Is The Chocolate Room good for a date night or just for families?
Honestly, both. The mix of Italian mains and a full dessert and hot chocolate menu makes it work equally well for a casual date, a family dinner, or a catch-up with friends.
Q.6 How far in advance should I book a table?
For weekday visits, walking in usually works fine. For weekends or evenings, we’d suggest booking a few hours ahead, or the day before if you’re coming with a larger group. You can book a table online in a couple of minutes.
Q.7 Is this the same as a regular pizzeria or is it different?
It’s different, and that’s the point. Most pizzerias in Etobicoke stick to pizza and not much else. We combine Italian mains, including pizza with a full café and dessert menu, so you get more variety in one visit than a typical pizza spot offers.
